Is he back?.. |
Tiger Woods who on Sunday played in the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill was by far not expected to win. Tiger who was the best player in the world & holds the record for the most consecutive weeks at number one (281, from June 12, 2005 to October 24, 2010), as well as the most total weeks in the position at 623. When entering into the Arnold Palmer Invitational Tiger hadn't won a PGA event since September 13, 2009. Why is this important? Because he could have easily given up and stopped playing. We all for the most part are aware of what Tiger has gone through during the last few years; however, all we can do is learn from other peoples mistakes and their short comings. What we can learn from Tiger is that if we stay focused on what we are called to do and our purpose we can overcome anything!
When we as believers put God first and let God lead us we will have some tough days and some hard days but in the mist of it he will keep us and get us through. I respect Tiger Woods because this is a guy who didn't let the world and what they thought and felt about him stop him from focusing on the tasks at hand & that was winning the tournament and gaining some type of respect back from his peers and the world.
