Life

Recently my grandmother turned 86 and we had a birthday party and celebrated her life. At her party we all laughed and had a wonderful time when I was there I could see how much peace she was in and she looked so happy. And all she could talk about is how God was number one in her life and how Jesus should be number one in everyone's life. As she was talking I was wondering how many people are walking around unhappy and frustrated in there life with no peace or joy. That day it was clear to see my grandmother's peace and joy wasn't coming from people or things. Her peace came from God, Luke 17; 33 "Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it" It was easy to see that she gave up her life for God. When will we do the same?? We have to try and do the same thing I don't know about you but I want the same feeling my grandmother had. So give yourself to Jesus and don't try and save your life but give it to him today. Your not gonna be perfect everyday but guess what??? God isn't looking for perfect people.
